Hanging Your Nursery Name Sign with Ease

Hanging Your Nursery Name Sign with Ease

Congratulations on choosing a Timberwood Designs nursery name sign! Now, let's dive into the process of hanging it up. We've got you covered with easy-to-follow tips to ensure your sign becomes a stunning focal point in your little one's nursery.

Materials You'll Need

Gather your materials before you begin. For most nursery name scripts, small picture frame nails work perfectly. Additionally, have a reliable 30lb strong mounting tape on hand for any capital letters that may not accommodate a nail.

Plan Your Layout

Before you start hanging, plan the layout of your nursery name sign on the wall. This step ensures that the placement is centered and aligned with other elements in the room. Take your time with measurements to avoid unnecessary adjustments later. Some clients like to put the first and middle names side by side and others like to stack the names

Hanging with Nails

For letters with loops and corners, the traditional approach works wonders. Place small nails on the wall where the loops and corners of the letters are. Gently hang the name script on these nails, ensuring a secure and snug fit. This method adds a touch of classic charm to your nursery decor.

Using Mounting Tape

Some capital letters may not be nail-friendly, and that's where the 30lb strong mounting tape comes in handy. Apply the tape to the back of the letter, following the manufacturer's instructions. Press firmly against the wall for a secure bond. This method is not only sturdy but also ensures a clean and seamless look.
